Browser-local by design
Documents, customer records and business details are stored in this browser profile. The application does not send them to a SpectBill database. This is useful for a simple local workflow, but does not provide a secure multi-user cloud account.
Protect the device
Use a device lock, keep your browser updated and avoid using a shared browser profile for confidential client work. A local profile is a convenience feature; it is not authentication or access control.
Back up important records
Use Settings to export a JSON backup and Dashboard to export document summaries as CSV. Store backups safely. Clearing browser data or using a different browser will not transfer your workspace.
Payments
The order-review page does not ask for card details. When configured, payment occurs through an external billing provider. Verify its domain and review the final total before paying.
Reporting security issues
Email support@spectbillltd.store with the affected page and a concise description. Avoid including private customer information or publishing exploit details while an issue is being investigated.
